It’s a Texas tradition to reward veterans with land as a show of appreciation for their service. As the second largest state, Texas has historically had an abundance of land over an abundance of money. So starting in the early days of the Texas Republic, veterans were offered land bounties of 320 to 1,280 acres in exchange for military service of three months to one year. After WWII in 1946, The Texas Veterans Land Board was founded to carry on this tradition. While today we can no longer give land to veterans, the board offers Texas veterans attractive financing, such as:

  • Low down payment of 5%
  • Up to 95% financing for loans less than $80,000
  • Fixed APR and up to 30-year term

More than 120,000 Texas veterans have purchased land with the help of the Texas Veterans Land Loan Program. Here at Dancing Bear Ranch, we are proud to offer Texas veterans special financing on our prime Hill Country real estate. Choose from 2,565 acres of rolling hills with exclusive access to crystal-clear Medina Lake and luxurious amenities. Veterans in our community are able to move into some of the most lavish Hill Country homes for sale with help from this great program. If you’re a Texas veteran, visit Dancing Bear Ranch today to see what our beautiful Hill Country real estate paired with the special financing options can mean for you.
